Robert M. Grover is an attorney and is of counsel to the firm. A native of Chicago, Mr. Grover received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Knox College, Galesburg, Illinois, in 1959 and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1962. Mr. Grover has practiced law in Jackson, Michigan since 1964 after serving two years as an officer in the United States Army.
Mr. Grover is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the Jackson County Bar Association (President, 1978). He is also admitted to practice in Illinois. Mr. Grover was a founding director of the Michigan Council of School Attorneys and served as its President in 1995-1996. He is also a member of the National Council of School Attorneys.
Mr. Grover concentrates his law practice in the area of School Law, Labor and Employment Law, Municipal Law, Corporate Law, Real Estate Law and Zoning, Planning and Land Use. Mr. Grover is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution and has participated in arbitration and mediation proceedings both as an arbitrator and mediator and as an advocate.
